Navratri and Durga Puja Wallpapers
Navratri is the nine-day festival dedicated to Devi Durga by Hindus all over India. The nine days represent the nine form of Goddess Durga, and its a new night for Durga for the next nine days. These nine forms are worshipped throughout India. In 2019, Shardiya Navratri is in between 29th September – 8th October 2019.
Kanya Puja at the end of the Festival?
At the end of Navratri fasting, Nine girls (below the age of 13) are invited and worshiped. They represent the nine forms of Goddesses Durga. The feet of all nine girls are washed, Mauli is tied, and then prasad is offered which includes puri, dry black chana, and halwa. At these times of years, if you cannot find nine girls, you can complete it with 2 girls or even one as Kanak Puja.
